Yes , another conference! This time up here in beautiful Lake Rosseau Muskoka for the HUB Eastern Summit. I am among the top advisors with HUB Eastern Canada. Another event standing amognst the giants in the industry learning what I can for our clients, keeping true to our moto "Keeping you in the Know!"

Lots of great familiar faces and of course shop talk. Tomorrow morning sessions will include AI and its impact on oir industry and some carrier product and service updates.

Had a great dinner cruise on the Winonah II on Lake Rosseau for a sunset cruise.

MAJOR new regulation learned in my last segment of Estate Planning for people who are POAs for their incapacitated parent.

Previously a POA would not be able to name beneficiaries on a new contract for an investment account. NOW they can!

What does this mean? It means the POA can now name beneficiaries as opposed to making the Estate the beneficiary WHICH will be subject to probate. Another tool/ strategy to bypass probate tax of 1.5%

What a nice course to play this morning...Sadly the course wouldn't allow golf carts so I had to walk it... I cant remember thr last time I had to walk a course... wind was challenging as well.

Over all though I had a good time. Thanks iA for thr generous hospitality
