Oh, what a night.

Tonight I had the immense pleasure of supporting a cause that is near and dear to my heart. Along with my lovely mother, I attended the BC Diabetes Foundation Gala. It was an evening filled with warmth, generosity, and shared purpose.

As a type 1 diabetic, it was deeply meaningful to be in a room full of like-minded, caring, and generous individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of those affected by diabetes.

The sense of community was inspiring, and I felt genuinely honoured to be part of it. A big thank you to BC Diabetes and Dr. Tom Elliott.

Here’s to continued progress, connection, and hope. 💙

It was an honour to be among the 300 women who came together for the Gala of Grace ladies luncheon, in support of the North Shore Crisis Services Society. Angela Meng, MBA, PFP® and I had a ton of fun, enjoyed delicious food, luxurious hand massages by the Skoah Lolo krew, and countless other goodies, all while supporting a truly worthwhile cause. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to do what I love while supporting the community that I feel passionate about.

I had the distinct pleasure of sitting down with Jim Allworth, Investment Strategist with RBC Wealth Management, last week. I was fortunate to co-host an advice event for business owners with my esteemed colleagues Siddharth Sharma and Derek Burgen - Group Consultant, RBC Group Advantage. My fellow presenters discussed cybersecurity and employee retention strategies, and I was able to ask Jim my burning market questions to hear his insights. Working together to bring value to our clients!

It is always such a pleasure to participate in the Family Services of the North Shore Christmas Bureau. Giving back is incredibly rewarding, especially at this time of year. It is heartwarming to see so much generosity in our community.

Several RBC personal, commercial and wealth team members from across the North Shore came together to be part of this worthwhile cause. Thank you to all who contributed, and to all of the volunteers who make this a better holiday season for those in need of some festive cheer!

Despite the poor air quality, I found an oasis by the ocean in West Vancouver today. Visiting PARC Retirement Living Westerleigh is always such a pleasure! Their residents are friendly and their gardens are immaculate! 🌻

Estate Planning was on my mind today! I was joined by Phylicia Rye, Senior Trust Officer of RBC Wealth Management, Royal Trust. Phylicia gave a compelling talk about everything related to estate planning… considerations for choosing an executor/power of attorney, the importance of having both a will and power of attorney, planning for incapacity, and the various roles of a trust company. Phylicia Rye, thank you for sharing your expertise!
