We know that summer is busy, recovery takes time, and insurance claims don't happen overnight. That's why we've extended the application deadline to August 31, 2026. We've been encouraged by the number of Members reaching out for support through our Emergency Response Loan. Just a reminder, Members can access up to $30,000 with 0% interest for the first year with applications closing August 21.

We’ve heard from you, our Members, about the impact the recent flooding has had on our homes and our community.

As a community-based Credit Union in Niagara, we know that when our community faces difficult times, we have a responsibility to show up and support one another.

To help those who have been impacted, PenFinancial is offering access to an Emergency Response Loan of up to $30,000 with 0% interest for the first year. Members can repay the loan at any time with no payout fee.

If more time is needed, the loan will continue into a low-interest emergency response loan priced below our Prime Rate. The total term to repay the loan is 5-years.

We hope this support provides some peace of mind as you focus on what matters most: restoring your home and moving forward.

While you’re clearing out the clutter, you’ll be helping make a difference! This year, all proceeds raised will be donated to Community Crew, supporting youth facing food insecurity across Niagara. 💚
