On Tuesday, thanks to the organization from my team member Khaled Ibrahim, Lisa Stanley with Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region and the Desjardins Insurance program, I was able to drop off $500 worth of treats and craft supplies to Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region to support an organization that makes such a positive difference in the lives of so many, here in Waterloo Region. Lisa and Kim Sproul (pictured with me) were also kind enough to give me a tour and teach me about some of their amazing programs. The drop-off will be used towards one of those programs, the Caregiver Connections Groups. Keep up the fantastic work Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region!

I spent a few hours at the 59th Annual KW Multicultural Festival (www.kwmf.ca) this weekend with Desjardins Insurance. I met lots of people, gave away free stuff and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Looking forward to the 60th next year!
