We honor the 400+ Diné Marines who invented an undecipherable code based on Navajo / Diné bizaad, a complex language with no alphabet or symbols, passed down through centuries of oral tradition.

The Navajo Code Talkers took a language the U.S. government once tried to erase and turned it into the key to winning a world war.

346 years ago today, Po'pay, a Tewa medicine man, led the Pueblo people in a united effort across nations to drive the Spanish colonial forces out of New Mexico, reclaiming their ancestral lands and restoring their way of life.

The Pueblo Revolt remains the most successful Indigenous uprising against European colonization in history and a testament to what is possible when our communities stand together.

As a company with a home in Albuquerque, located on the traditional, unceded homelands of the Pueblos of Sandia and Isleta and the Tiwa-speaking Peoples, this history lives close to us.

We believe that thread of resistance lives on in every Indigenous entrepreneur building on their own terms today. Economic sovereignty is an extension of the sovereignty our ancestors fought for. We honour them. 🪶

June 21st is National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada! Today marks the 30th anniversary of this celebration and coincides with the summer solstice.

As an Indigenous-led and owned organization, our work is driven by a majority-Indigenous team backing an incredible portfolio of Indigenous entrepreneurs who are using their unique medicine to revitalize communities, innovate across industries, and reclaim self-determination.

Today, we celebrate our team, our portfolio partners, and the vibrant future of the Indigenous economy.

As we honor Juneteenth, the words of Fannie Lou Hamer remind us that true liberation is collective.

The Emancipation Proclamation took effect in 1863, yet enslavers in Galveston, Texas, withheld this news and evaded emancipation for 2.5 years. It wasn't until June 19, 1865, that emancipation was enforced across Texas, and over 250,000 enslaved African Americans were finally able to celebrate their freedom.

In 2021, after decades of grassroots activism, Juneteenth was officially established as a federal holiday.

161 years later, this day continues to serve as a reminder to celebrate, educate, and build a future grounded in equity and justice.

June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada. It's a time to honor heritage, amplify stories, and celebrate the diverse cultures of 600+ First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities in Canada.

It’s also an opportunity for all Canadians to actively participate in reconciliation by supporting their local Indigenous communities and businesses throughout this month and after.

On Memorial Day, we honor our fallen warriors who served in all major U.S. conflicts, including World Wars I and II, at a higher per capita rate than any other ethnic group. Warriors are seen as protectors of their land and people, a tradition that predates the United States.

We honor the service and sacrifice of Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian veterans who fought to protect the sovereignty of their people and their homeland.�
