The Bank of Canada has cut its policy interest rate for a third consecutive time. Governor Tiff Macklem says if the economy continues to improve, Canadians can expect more rate cuts later this year.

Happy Monday! Here is some great news. They are changing the property transfer tax amounts as of April 1, 2024. Currently set at a fair market value of $500,000, this threshold will increase substantially to $835,000. Below is the property tax calculator.

Peter Pogue and Michelle Beeton have been champions for United Way for more than seven years. They have worked coat checks, sold 50/50 tickets, and served on many United Way com committees. Peter has even delivered car seats up the Okanagan Valley to the agencies and organizations United Way British Columbia serves. Both are an integral part of our Drive-Thru Breakfasts.
