Our hearts are with everyone across the Okanagan and throughout British Columbia who have been impacted by the ongoing wildfires.

We are thinking of the families, friends, neighbours, clients, and communities facing evacuations, uncertainty, and hardship. During difficult times like these, we are reminded of the strength and resilience that exists within our communities.

We are deeply grateful to the firefighters, emergency personnel, volunteers, and countless individuals who have stepped forward to help others, whether by supporting evacuation efforts, caring for animals, assisting vulnerable residents, or providing comfort and resources to those in need.

Thank you to all who are helping. Your dedication and compassion make an immeasurable difference.

Gaskell Slimmon Advisory was proud to sponsor the Vernon Golf & Country Club Senior and Super Senior Men’s Club Championship on July 11–12, including the $10,000 Hole-in-One Challenge on the 3rd hole. While the prize wasn’t claimed this year, it added plenty of excitement to an already fantastic tournament!

Congratulations to all the players who competed, and thank you to Vernon Golf & Country Club for hosting such a memorable event. We love to support local community initiatives and celebrate the people who make them special.
