The key is understanding what your employees actually value and building a benefits plan that makes sense for your business.

DELETE 3.
Imagine your household normally runs on two incomes. Now take one away. Mortgage. Groceries. Childcare. Cars. Savings. Utilities. If the remaining income couldn't cover everything, what would you remove first?

That's one of the situations life insurance can be designed to help address. Depending on the policy and circumstances, a life insurance benefit can provide financial support to beneficiaries after the insured person's death.

The point isn't that every expense needs to stay exactly the same. It's knowing what you would want your family to be able to keep — and understanding how much coverage may be appropriate for that goal.

So, what 3 are you deleting?

Life changes. Your beneficiary designation should too.

Many people set a beneficiary when they first purchase a life insurance policy—and never think about it again. But as life evolves, it's worth reviewing whether that designation still reflects your wishes.

This is your reminder to review your beneficiary after major life changes, such as:

• Getting married
• Welcoming a new child
• Buying a home
• Getting divorced or separated
• Other major life events

Taking a few minutes to review your policy today can help ensure it continues to align with your goals.

Not sure if your beneficiary information is up to date? Reach out to a Toronto Life Financial Group advisor—we're happy to help you review your policy and discuss your options.

Most parents think child insurance only pays if something unexpected happens.

While it can provide financial protection, that's only part of the story.

Depending on the policy, child insurance may also help:
• Build cash value over time
• Secure future insurability while your child is healthy
• Be transferred to your child as an adult
• Support future financial goals

The earlier you understand your options, the more opportunities you may have to plan for your child's future.

Every family is different, which is why it's important to choose coverage that aligns with your goals and needs.

If you're wondering whether child insurance makes sense for your family, we're here to help you explore your options.
