Formerly DLC The Mortgage Masters Group, our rebrand better reflects the direction we’re taking our business.

At the same time, we’ve also launched a private lending firm called OZ Funding Corporation based on the need for a private lending company with clear guidelines, and where care is given for all parties involved in the funding process – including investors, mortgage brokers/agents and borrowers.

A thought for the day.
Everyone fails every once in a while, it is part of life and part of our personal growth. Many unfortunately will rarely try again and if they do, it is halfheartedly due to the fear of failing once more. One of the keys to success is being able to get up, dust yourself off and try again. No matter what you want to achieve you must keep at it. Don't let little failures become one big failure.

So I just listened to a message from the president of Mortgage Professionals Canada about the new rule changes. It is so important that our voices our being heard and that we are collectively lobbying to the government. I am still baffled at the fact that the rule changes were designed and implemented around the opinions of politicians and the major banks. Our industry as a whole does more business and knows more about what Canadians need than any other player in the mortgage space. Having said that I am grateful we are doing something about it and hopeful the government will take a closer look at what they've done. This year is certainly going to be interesting for our industry.
