A 16-year-old G2 driver learned a hard lesson early in his driving career after being stopped by Huronia West Detachment for speeding 144 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on County Road 27 in Springwater Township.
The teen was charged under Ontario’s stunt driving legislation, resulting in:
• 14-day vehicle impoundment
• 30-day driver’s licence suspension
• A court date to answer to the charges
