Michael had an old office chair that squeaked, wobbled, and hurt his back.
Everyone told him to replace it, but he always said,
“I’m used to it.”
One day the chair finally broke.
He bought a new one and immediately said,
“Wow… I should’ve done this years ago.”
That’s status quo bias—
sticking with what’s familiar, even when it’s holding you back.
Most advisors/agents do the same even when they know the company that they are currently at is not working out for them and even when they have clearly seen a better opportunity elsewhere .
Staying where you are feels safe…
until you realize how much comfort, growth, and security you’ve been missing.
