This is our moment. AREAA's 2026 National Convention focuses on a traditional Asian theme, Fu Lu Shou, the spirit of prosperity, wealth, and health. As we've seen from our recent study with Urban Institute, homeownership is the engine of generational wealth, it builds our communities, and provides those we care for with stability, safety, and educational opportunities.

Held in the bustling and growing city of Frisco, Texas, this event features entrepreneurs, innovators, and icons who embody the drive to build a better future. Their stories are not defined by struggle, but by possibility, reflecting the very spirit that unites our community.

The Supreme Court has voted 5-4 to strike down the Trump administration’s efforts to end birthright citizenship. AREAA’s National President Bryan Ahn had this to say:

“I’m an immigrant, my parents are immigrants, and my four beautiful children were born to immigrants. We are all proud Americans. As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, I applaud that our country’s highest court has reaffirmed one of our fundamental rights. As President of the Asian Real Estate Association of America, I am honored to lead an organization that fights for the homeownership rights of families just like my own across the country.”

✨Thank you to everyone who attended the Celebration of Life & Legacy of Tina Mak this past Thursday ✨

It is evident seeing the number of individuals who travelled all the way to Vancouver to attend this special commemoration, how much impact she’s had not only to the industry, but to each and everyone who’s crossed paths with her.

We hope this event offered you peace and comfort in knowing that Tina has become a free-spirit. Tina was always about bridging cultural gaps, bringing people together, and building the human spirit. Let’s carry on our lives with this spirit in mind, always.

Tina’s impact will always be remembered, and never forgotten.

Vancouver didn’t just make the World Cup roster, it topped the rankings. ⚽🏆

A new ranking has named Vancouver the best host city for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, beating out 15 other cities across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.

The ranking highlighted BC Place’s downtown location, walkability, SkyTrain access, mild weather, beaches, mountain views, and fan events across the city.

If anyone remembers Radon Awareness Month in November 2024, Jill Hall from Chilliwack had participated in the panel as a guest. Sadly, Jill had passed away from lung cancer as well. Rest In Peace, Jill.
