📸 What happens when you put a room full of ambitious, heart-centered women together for a weekend?

You learn. You grow. You laugh. You dance. You connect. And somehow, you leave with a notebook full of ideas and a heart full of gratitude. ❤️

The Alliance 360 Sisterhood Retreat was the perfect blend of personal growth, business development, meaningful conversations, poolside downtime, and a little dancing thrown in for good measure. 💃☀️

We spent the weekend learning from incredible speakers, challenging ourselves to step outside our comfort zones, building new friendships, and reminding each other that we don't have to do this entrepreneurial journey alone.

A huge thank you to everyone who shared their wisdom, energy, and stories. I am leaving inspired, recharged, and excited for what's ahead.

Now... who's ready for next year? 😄

📸 Another inspiring session from the Alliance 360 Sisterhood Retreat!

A big thank you to .hindle Lindsay Hindle for her presentation, "Amplifying Your Presence and Multiplying Your Profits."

One of my favorite parts was that we didn't just talk about confidence and authority—we practiced it. Through three voice exercises, Lindsay helped us discover and strengthen our own voice and authority.

As someone who is much more comfortable behind spreadsheets than in the spotlight, this was definitely outside my comfort zone. 😄

My biggest takeaway? People are more likely to trust your message when you communicate with confidence, clarity, and authenticity.

Thank you, Lindsay, for the practical tools, energy, and reminder that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is own our voice.

If you're a woman who sometimes struggles with self-doubt, overthinking, or holding yourself back, I highly recommend connecting with Anna Gradie.

I had the pleasure of attending her presentation on building confidence, and her message was both inspiring and practical. Anna has a wonderful way of helping women recognize their strengths, trust themselves more, and take action even when confidence doesn't come naturally.

I left feeling empowered, encouraged, and reminded that confidence isn't about being fearless—it's about believing in yourself enough to take the next step.

📸 Another wonderful experience at the Alliance 360 Sisterhood Retreat!

A huge thank you to Brandi from Spa Haven Boutique, who treated us to a group facial massage session.

I'll admit, when I arrived, my brain was running at full speed—thinking about clients, bookkeeping, deadlines, and all the other things entrepreneurs tend to carry around. 😅

For a little while, Brandi gave us permission to slow down, breathe, relax, and simply be present.

My biggest takeaway? Self-care isn't a luxury. It's part of showing up as our best selves—for our businesses, our families, and ourselves.

Thank you, Brandi, for creating such a calming and rejuvenating experience. I think every entrepreneur needs this reminder once in a while. ❤️

That one hit home.

Like many entrepreneurs, I've attended workshops, taken courses, read books, and filled notebooks with ideas. But knowledge only creates results when we put it into action.

My biggest takeaway: stop waiting for the perfect time, perfect plan, or perfect conditions. Pick one thing you've learned and start using it.

Thank you, Jasmine, for the reminder that growth doesn't come from what we know—it comes from what we do with what we know.

📸 Confession: I'd rather spend my weekend reconciling accounts than learning social media. 😆
But here I am with Jess Parker from Parker Media at the Alliance 360 Sisterhood Retreat, learning how to be a little more visible and a little less "spreadsheet-shaped."

My biggest takeaway? People connect with people, not perfect posts.
As a bookkeeper, I spend most of my time behind the scenes helping businesses succeed. Today was a reminder that it's okay to step into the spotlight once in a while, too.

Day 1 at Web Summit Vancouver… and I’m still processing it 🥹

The day started with a walk with — just people showing up, talking about what they’re building, sharing ideas, getting to know each other.
Simple, but such a good way to step into the day.

My first ever tech conference, and I didn’t really know what to expect.

But wow… the energy here is something else.

The opening ceremony really hit.
Hearing the brilliant mind of Sigrid Jin — I’m so happy I got to experience that live… what a brain.

Alongside Evan Solomon leading AI for Canada,
Joelle Pineau from Cohere,
Chrystia Freeland shaping Canada’s finances,
and Ken Sim representing Vancouver —

just sitting there listening, you really feel how fast this space is moving.

Then straight into networking at Bentall Centre — conversations, ideas, people from everywhere.

I’m here with as Head of Growth & Partnerships — we’re building an AI-powered app that helps parents turn screen time into meaningful learning — and it honestly feels a bit surreal to be part of all of this.
