Are you working to live, or living to work?

It’s a question that can stop us in our tracks and make us reflect on how we’re spending our time and energy. Work is important—it provides for our needs, gives us purpose, and can help us grow. But when it starts to overshadow the rest of our lives, it’s time to pause and rethink.

True balance means making space for the things that truly matter: time with loved ones, moments of joy, self-care, and pursuing the passions that make life fulfilling. It’s about aligning our work with our values so that it supports our lives instead of consuming them.

Take a moment today to ask yourself: Am I prioritizing what really matters? If not, what’s one small change I can make to tip the scales toward balance?
