Moose Hide Campaign Day is a Canada wide call to stand together to help end violence against women and children.

The Moose Hide Campaign is an Indigenous led movement grounded in ceremony, learning, and action. Wearing a Moose Hide pin represents a personal commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in our lives, and to continue having the conversations that lead to change.

At Vancity, supporting the Moose Hide Campaign is part of our Reconciliation journey and our belief that safer, more inclusive communities are built through collective action. This year, our DEIR team contributed $5,000 toward the 2026 Moose Hide Campaign, and Moose Hide pins have been distributed to branches to support participation.

We’re grateful to be part of this movement, and we encourage our community to learn more, wear a pin, and keep the conversation going.
