ack home from Calgary after a fantastic few days speaking at the Intuit Accountants QuickBooks conference 💙

A huge thank you to the QuickBooks team for such a thoughtful and well-organized event — and for taking such great care of all of us throughout the conference.

One of the strongest themes throughout the event was AI and the future of accounting and advisory services. What I found most interesting was not the technology itself, but the opportunity it creates for more meaningful conversations with business owners.

The more automated and efficient things become, the more important it is that business owners actually understand their numbers:
✨ understanding their numbers
✨ making confident decisions
✨ having better conversations

I also loved co-presenting with Balncd Cheryl Baldwin on bringing more clarity, context, and value into the financial information we provide clients.

And one of the best parts of these conferences is always the conversations — reconnecting with people, meeting new ones, and hearing how others are thinking about the future of this profession.
