At Kinvest Ventures partners, we're proud to announce that 273 of our casual workers had completed the Kinvest Impact Foundation's Business Leader Development Training.

Through this program, participants gained vital business skills, learned effective saving strategies, and developed budgeting expertise. The training also enables them to establish peer networks, savings groups, and cooperatives creating pathways to enhanced financial stability.

In just three months, her life has transformed. She now feels strong and healthy and has big plans for her future, including buying a bicycle and expanding her house. With our support, Alphonsine can send her child to school and plans to rent land for cultivation.

We pay workers 2.5 times the average wages at our farms, fostering transformation and lasting impact.

During peak harvest times, we serve over 300 meals daily, fostering a healthy and supportive work environment.

Update on the solar irrigation project at our Impano Nziza Farm.

Our farm’s innovative irrigation system will feature a solar-powered water reservoir. This system will pump water from the Akagera River and leverage gravity to water each block of coffee efficiently.

With 208 kW of solar energy, this sustainable solution will enhance our farming operations while promoting environmental stewardship.

Harvesting has begun at Umusozi W’Ishimwe, our 294-hectare plot within the Gabiro Agribusiness Hub.

We have dedicated 100 hectares to sugar beans and anticipate a yield of over 50 tons for the local market.

We aim to establish a sustainable farming enterprise that fosters food security and connects Rwandan agriculture with international markets.

Our coffee crop, which has a 30-year lifespan and now covers over 25 hectares, represents a significant long-term investment.

By establishing orchards, we are securing the sustainability of our agriculture legacy and paving the way for the future stewards of our farms.

Exciting changes are underway at our Impano Nziza farm as we introduce a new water reservoir to revolutionize our irrigation system.

By pumping water from the Akagera River to the farm's highest point, we are leveraging gravity and solar energy to water each block efficiently.

This system not only addresses challenges but unlocks new sustainable opportunities for growth.

With 17 hectares of coffee planted, totaling 43,000 trees, our commitment to responsible farming continues.

We intentionally chose names for our farms that reflect their intended role in the communities they serve.

Impano Nziza translates to "good gift." This farm has proven to be a blessing to the local community. Our wages, 2.5 times higher than alternative options, have enabled farmers to invest in livestock, land, and housing and send their children to school.

Amazi Adasuma and Umusozi W'Ishimwe are our newest farms within the Gabiro Agribusiness Hub.

Amazi Adasuma means "still water,” symbolizing the promise of abundance that water brings to the region.

Umusozi W'Ishimwe represents a "mountain of thanksgiving." This farm will cultivate horticulture crops such as coffee and avocado, proving to be a lasting investment for generations to come.

We eagerly anticipate the development of these two new farms as we continue to partner with the farmers at Impano Nziza.

With only 6% of Rwanda’s cultivated land irrigated, we recognize a significant opportunity to promote sustainable farming techniques and irrigation practices.

This week, we conducted water pressure tests on our plots within the Gabiro Agribusiness Hub to improve the efficiency of our irrigation system.

This pump will soon be linked to our farm’s irrigation system, which will cover over 500 hectares of horticulture crops.
