I recently met a young couple, who, like many first-time buyers in Vancouver, struggled to find a home within their budget. To increase their purchasing power, I suggested the First-Time Home Buyer Incentive (FTHBI) program. The program enabled them to boost their down payment by 5%, which ultimately allowed them to afford their first home.

Programs like the FTHBI are a great solution for many buyers facing affordability issues and can help them purchase a home without adding financial stress.
