WAIT! 👀 Are your tires BC highway ready? 🚗❄️

BC’s winter tire rules officially kicked in on October 1!
And yes… even if it’s still sunny outside. ☀️😂

Here’s your quick reminder:
🛞 M+S or mountain/snowflake symbol on approved winter tires
📏 Minimum 3.5 mm tread depth
📅 Oct 1 – Apr 30 on many designated highways (some end Mar 31)
🏔️ Heading out of town? Check your route before you go!

Not all BC roads require winter tires, but many mountain and interior highways do.

🧡 Today, we honour, remember and reflect.

On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never returned home, residential school Survivors, their families and Indigenous communities.

Our hearts are also with the Tsawwassen First Nation community and everyone affected by today’s tragic incident at Tsawwassen Mills. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives, and our thoughts are with those who were injured and all those impacted.

Today is a day to listen, learn, reflect and remember.

Every Child Matters. 🧡

Please note: Our office is closed today in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We will reopen October 1.

Meet Aris Chan, our new CSA Trainee at Stratis! 👋

Fresh off completing his Level 1 Broker course through the Insurance Institute, Aris is ready to jump into the industry and kick-start his insurance career with us. 💼

Before Stratis, Aris worked as a line cook at Earls and made cold calls for a start-up, so he already knows a thing or two about working under pressure, connecting with people, and taking on a challenge. 🙌
