Spilling the tea on my savings goals as a millennial, single income, no kids.

I think we need to normalize talking about real numbers. Most of us are out there guessing whether we're ahead or behind and it would be so much easier if we could just see what other people are actually working with.

So I'm sharing it. The actual dollar amounts. The funds I'm prioritizing right now and the ones taking a back seat while my BF and I save for our new home.

My emergency fund is the one that gives me the most peace of mind. It lives in a separate high interest savings account so it's still earning while it sits there but it's easy to grab if I ever need it. I'm at 53% of my goal and getting closer every payday.

I wish someone had told me to start these in my 20s. The one that surprised me most was the car maintenance fund. It feels boring to save for but the moment your car needs work and the money is already there it completely changes how stressful that moment is.
