Meet Devyn! 💙

A familiar face at James Campbell Insurance Brokers and a proud Uxbridge local!

Born and raised in Uxbridge, Ontario, Devyn joined our team just over a year ago and has been helping individuals and families navigate their personal insurance needs ever since.

Before joining JCIB, Devyn attended Durham College, where she played not one, but TWO varsity sports for the Durham Lords, golf and volleyball! 🏌️‍♀️🏐

And there’s even more to celebrate! Devyn recently became a first-time homeowner! 🏡🔑

From growing up in Uxbridge to building her career right here in the community, we’re proud to have Devyn as part of our team.

Whether you’re visiting us from Uxbridge, Mount Albert, or the surrounding Durham Region, it’s friendly, local faces like Devyn who make our brokerage what it is.

Hosting Thanksgiving this weekend? 🦃

Between getting dinner on the table, welcoming family and friends, and making sure everyone has a good time, there’s usually a lot going on.

A few simple reminders before your guests arrive:

• Keep an eye on the kitchen and never leave cooking unattended
• Keep candles away from decorations, curtains and busy areas
• Clear walkways and entrances, especially for guests arriving after dark
• Give your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms a quick check
• If you’re serving alcohol, make sure everyone has a safe way home… or a comfy place to stay

A little preparation goes a long way toward keeping the holiday about what it should be: good food and time spent together.
