Happy Thanksgiving! One of my favourite holidays of the year, thankful for the amazing people (and food) in my life.

This is an artistic creation by my mother to celebrate Diwali, and the Indian New Year. The genre of traditional art is called Rangoli (yes, like the Vij resto) and it is done by carefully sprinkling powder colours and beads freehand only, without use if other tools. She has been doing this for years.
From my family to yours, Happy Diwali and Saal Mubarak (happy new year)

I just had to...
The latest optical illusion, and it works. Stare at the white dot for 30 seconds, trying not to blink. Then move your eyes around the screen. You should see a disc. Apparently no TV screen, monitor, or mobile screen is capable display this colour, so it’s really an illusion that “tricks”your eyes. Let me know if you see it.

While we celebrate Biden’s win, let’s not forget this little girl, Kamala Harris, who became the first woman (and person of colour) Vice President Elect of the US.
The daughter of Jamaican🇯🇲 immigrant father (a Stanford Professor) and Indian 🇮🇳 immigrant mother (a world renowned biomedical scientist). She also has 🇨🇦 roots - while her mother was a professor at McGill University, Kamala spent all her high school years in the Montreal public school system. She went on to become the Attorney General of California, and a US senator, and now VP Elect. What a story.
Her mother used to tell her:
“Don’t just sit around and complain about things. Do something.” How fitting.

Happy Halloween Everyone!
One of my fondest Halloween memories growing up was when my older cousins hand crafted Rodimus Prime and Galvatron costumes for me and my bro . My nieces and nephews have become huge fans and this year’s pumpkin 🎃 carving request was and pumpkins, which brother spent many hours on to make it happen. It’s not about the candy, it’s about the memories

WONDERGIRL: This brilliant Indo-American girl has made a major coronavirus breakthrough, at the age of 14. This is more than a highschool award, in fact virologists and drug developers around the globe are looking at her work.

So incredibly articulate and confident, she does not rest with this tremendous accolade. While continuing her research (and regular studies as a student) she has additionally, already, started a foundation to promote interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) Education amongst her peers.

BRAVO , you may be the one who saves hundreds of millions, if not billions, of human lives.
