We are a small real estate private equity and asset management firm. As we scale and expand, we will be acquiring multiple real estate assets, particularly in the Multifamily sector and detached houses with upside potential across GTA. Therefore, our small team needs two real estate administrative assistants to underwrite and manage our real estate asset portfolio, as well as to support our daily operations.
You will be paid an annual salary + potential performance bonus
You will be responsible for the following:
Track MLS listing to find suitable asset acquisition opportunity
Underwrite all incoming assets using our financial model;
Manage all asset-related due diligence;
For selected assets, work with different third parties to coordinate;
Manage asset portfolio post-closing
Manage our social media platform
Support our every day/year-end tasks
Qualification:
Knowledge in real estate an asset
Fluent English and Mandarin are a must, as we deal with both Asian and local clients.
Strong writing skills and communication skills
Ability to obtain results in a highly demanding environment.
Strong computer skills with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong learning ability and interest to learn

Picton is an unincorporated community located in Prince Edward County in South Eastern Ontario, Canada, roughly 160 km east of Toronto.

Q: What’s second mortgage? What’s the difference from first mortgage?

A: In an institutional mortgage, the borrower is getting the loan from a bank to buy the house. In this example the borrower is the customer and the lender is the bank.
The loan is called a “mortgage” to indicate that the bank is holding the property as security. I am sure you are aware that if you don’t pay your mortgage, the bank can sell your home to get their money back.

That is called “power of sale"
Banks are increasingly tightening their requirements for customers to get mortgages from them. For example you have to have good credit or a high income. Otherwise you don’t quality.

That is where private mortgages come in, they charge a higher rate than you would get from the bank but more people are approved.

This is where you would come in, you as the lender, would do the role of the bank. You lend the money, for a set term, (usually always 1 year) and in return you collect the interest.
