October is Cyber Security Awareness Month. Fraudsters are getting better at looking real, so a few habits go a long way:

🔍 Spot it. Check the sender and links before you act, especially on urgent messages.
🔒 Lock it. Use a unique password or passphrase for every account. Turn on multi-factor authentication.
🚩 Report it. Forward suspicious texts to 7726 (SPAM). Report fraud at reportcyberandfraud.canada.ca.

CLOSURE - National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, RCU Credit Union will be closed in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

This day is an opportunity to reflect on the legacy of residential schools and to honour Survivors, their families, and Indigenous communities. We encourage our members to take time for learning, reflection, and reconciliation.
