Over the summer I had many conversations with clients and friends about how the pandemic has changed their approach to preparing and planning for the future. I've heard much greater emphasis on open and candid discussions within families about wills, estate planning, trusts, and power of attorneys. These topics that were previously avoided have become prioritized.
