Equity markets were down in September, but earnings are keeping indexes near all-time highs, with strength concentrated in A.I. associated names while overall breadth remains weak.

Is Canada about to start raising interest rates? Probably not. We don't see the same pressure to raise rates in Canada as in the U.S., which has already entered a hiking cycle, although the Fed will likely wait until December to raise rates again.
