Important Update: Starting January 1, 2027, all RIBO licensing exams are moving to an in-person only format. As one of your approved exam providers, IBAO is ready to support candidates through this transition. Candidates will take computer-based exams on IBAO-provided hardware with live on-site proctors. The exam fee remains unchanged, and unofficial results will be provided within two business days.

Today, we honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a time to reflect on the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools, honour survivors, their families, and communities, and reaffirm our commitment to learning and meaningful action.

As part of IBAO and our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee’s ongoing commitment to reconciliation, we are proud to support the National Centre for Collaboration on Indigenous Education (NCCIE) Foundation with a $2,000 donation. Managed by First Nations University of Canada, the NCCIE advances Indigenous education and highlights strengths in Indigenous education from coast to coast to coast.

IBAO recently wrapped up our College Speaker Day presentations, connecting with insurance students across Humber Polytechnic, Fanshawe College, Conestoga College, and Mohawk College. Through these visits, we’re introducing students to IBAO, career pathways in the broker channel, and the resources available to help them succeed, from RIBO education and exam support to brokerage visits and student programming.

A big thank you to our Young Brokers Council (YBC) for supporting these recruitment initiatives, sharing their real-world insights, and mentoring the next generation of industry leaders. We can't wait to welcome many of these students to NextGen at on October 21! 🎓✨ https://bit.ly/45JaMSq
