Just crossed the finish line of my first 100K ultramarathon — and I’m still processing what that distance really means.
100 kilometers on foot. 13 hours of running, hiking, fueling, and digging deep.
As a Certified Financial Planner, I often talk to clients about long-term goals — how consistency, strategy, and resilience pay off over time. This race brought those same principles to life in a whole new way.
One of the biggest lessons? Listening to the people around you. At km 60, I was hitting a wall — physically and mentally. My crew saw what I needed before I did: fuel, rest, encouragement, a reset. Their support and perspective made all the difference. Just like in business, sometimes it takes your team to see what you can’t from the inside.
I’m proud, grateful, and more convinced than ever that the discipline we build outside of work can fuel our professional lives — and vice versa.
Here’s to big goals, long roads, and the strength to keep moving forward — with the right people beside you.
