Access to reading shouldn’t depend on mobility.

That’s why one of our employers, Brantford Public Library, has introduced a home delivery service for community members who are unable to visit the library.

Deliveries extend from individuals with long-term illness or disabilities to long-term care facilities and nursing homes.

It’s one more example of how OMERS employers are meeting people where they are and helping ensure access and inclusion remain at the heart of community services: https://www.omers.com/omers-community/brantford-public-library-delivering-books-to-those-unable-to-visit

We’re known for delivering on the pension promise.

But what you may not know is that we also go the distance for causes that matter.

Recently, colleagues in our Sydney office each walked more than 1,664 kilometres in a single month in support of the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia’s 86K for a Cure challenge.

We’re proud to say our colleagues didn’t just meet the challenge; they went well beyond it, raising funds to support groundbreaking research aimed at finding a cure once and for all.

What began as a $4,000 goal became something much bigger.

Finding a family doctor is getting harder across the province.

But one small town is trying something different.

One of our employers, Carleton Place Town Hall, is rethinking how communities attract doctors and connect patients to care.

This work reflects the leadership of OMERS members working together to strengthen care in their communities.

Take a look inside the new “one‑stop” health hub and see what’s drawing doctors in: https://www.omers.com/omers-community/carleton-place-and-the-effort-to-recruit-and-retain-family-doctors

Red Dress Day is a time to remember, reflect, and acknowledge our shared responsibility.

Today, we honour the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two‑Spirit People, and recognize the lasting impact this violence has on families, communities, and future generations.

For the third year in a row, our Indigenous Peoples Alliance Employee Resource Group hosted a Faceless Dolls Workshop, creating space for reflection and remembrance among colleagues.

It was a powerful reminder of the lives taken and the importance of continuing to listen, learn, and show respect.
