From the age of 32 to 35, he would proceed to invest by buying one property every year – he would find rundown properties, buy them, make minor fixes, and rent them out. This helped PrabaHARAN to build not only the equity of the property but also his own confidence. PrabaHARAN got his own real estate license in 2004 and an insurance license in 2007 to become a financial and insurance advisor. Surprise! This was his part-time; being an IT professional was his full-time job. When layoffs from IT companies aren’t alien to us, we know the depression and frustration being let go from a stable job can bring.
