🌷🌼💐 It’s gardening season!

Ania and I were excited to add some pops of colour to the front yard, so we headed off to the gardening centre where we had a field day picking from the huge variety available.

We settled on a colourful assortment of petunias and we also got some hostas for variety.

Then we got to work.

Ania was the director.😒

Pepper supervised from the walkway.😸

We’re happy with the way it turned out! And aside from a little weeding, it should be pretty low maintenance.

🍩 Happy Donut Day!

Wait, is it “doughnut” or “donut”? 🤔

Who cares! They’re delicious!

As you can see, my daughter Stephanie agrees. So, we made a batch to celebrate. (Actually, every day would be Donut Day in our house if we allowed it.😄)

Donut fun facts:

Both spellings are correct. That settles that debate. 🤷🏼‍♂️

▫️Krispy Kreme sells the world’s most expensive donuts. Sprinkled with edible gold leaf & diamonds, it sells for just over $1,000!

▫️ Canda’s beloved donut shop, Tim Horton’s, opened in 1964 in Hamilton, ON.

Bonus fun fact:

🤫 I worked part-time at Tim Horton's on the drive-thru window when I was in university. 5:00am starts and then class afterwards.

If you’re wondering, my favourite donut is honey glaze, but I’m also a sucker with anything with sprinkles on it.

🏆Last month at the DLC Edge Financial Spring Kick-off and Awards, I received an award for sales achievement of the year and a Hall of Fame award!

The latter is handed out annually to mortgage agents who reach $2M in lifetime revenue. So, as you can imagine, I was honoured to be included among the 28 people in Ontario who hit that threshold.

I love my work and would do it regardless of the accolades, but it’s an honour to be recognized. 😊
