Groundhog Day has come and gone, and Ontario's own Wiarton W***y says that Spring is on its way — no shadow seen!

Balzac Billy out in Alberta saw his shadow, alas, so they're in for more winter, but Shubenacadie Sam in Nova Scotia (say that 10 times fast) also reports Spring is near. 2 out of 3 ain't bad!

Let's hope Wiarton W***y's got the right idea, and the mild Spring temperatures are close at hand.

Stay warm and safe this weekend, and if you're into winter sports, celebrate the season by watching the Winter Olympics, happening in Italy.

Sending love and warm hugs from the Bill 7 team!

"As long as you love me so, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!" ❄️❄️❄️

We're having quite a snowy January so far in Ontario! We hope you're safe and warm, wherever you are. If you get a chance, head out for fun & games in the powder.

Who knows -- you may well miss it when it's gone! Or not...

Two weeks 'til Valentine's Day. Have you hugged your sweetheart lately?

Good luck in all this snow! ⛄⛄⛄

Lots of snow throughout Ontario! You know what they say: let it snow! Stay warm and safe this weekend and enjoy the fluffy flakes if that's your jam.

And if it's not, well, summer is on its way!

Welcome to 2026, all. Already, the world feels a bit out of control, it's true.

When you're feeling stressed, or overwhelmed, or just fed up with the state of things, one of the best things you can do is connect with loved ones and the people around you.

It's good to take time to feel your feelings. Try to find solace in your community, and don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

January can be a "down" month for many reasons. From all of us here at the Bill 7 Trust, be well, and do your best to enjoy your weekend. When in doubt, hug a friend!

Happy New Year! Can you believe it's 2026??

Today's a great day to kick back and reflect on where you've been and where you're going next.

It's also a good chance to set a New Year's Resolution!

Our New Year's Resolution is to provide even more scholarships for deserving 2SLGBTQI+ youth across Ontario! (How'd you guess?)

What's your Resolution for 2026? We'd love to hear it in the comments.

Chat soon. Have a happy 2026! 🥂

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all, from the Bill 7 Award Trust team! We had a fantastic 2025, and can't wait to ring in the new year with you too.

For now, hug your loved ones close, stay warm, and maybe spread a little joy and kindness in your neighbourhood. The holiday season can be challenging for some, so please look out for the folks around you!

Enjoy your winter break, wherever you are, and have a hot toddy on us! (if you're 19+, of course!)

Royce is another returning recipient, now in his second year of police foundations at Durham College. Attending the Bill 7 celebration reminds him he's on the right path, and though he spent many years in bad situations, he's in a loving home now. If he could speak to his younger self, Royce would tell him, "Your strength will save your life."
