In celebrating International Women’s Day, we would like to shine the limelight on these three inspiring women.
In her 30 plus years’ experience in the industry, Tammy Buss has been as passionate a voice in advocating financial security and planning for small businesses and families as she is a generous supporter to the community and charitable causes. Since the start of her partnership with Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network - South Western Ontario in 2005, Tammy has won numerous accolades. She and her team at Buss Financial Group are strong believers of a simple yet effective approach for their clients.
Joyce Kwa started her career as a financial advisor right after graduating university in the late 70s. She has been with our network for decades and is now a member of DFSIN BC, building an esteemed career, extensive networks and friendships. With much change to the industry over the years, Joyce has had to rebuild her clientele a few times, but she demonstrated great resilience and strength to rise to the top ranks over and again. She attributes her success to good mentorship, deep product knowledge and strong client relationships. Being ever so low-key, Joyce devotes her time outside of work to volunteering at Vancouver Botanical Garden.
Luisa Hrysio joined Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network - Toronto West in 2013 with 25 years’ banking experience already under her belt. She has since developed a successful practice focused on educating her clients on the importance of a proper financial plan. Consistently being one of her financial centre’s top advisors, Luisa is also a Branch Manager and has spent many years training, mentoring and coaching her fellow advisors. When not in the office Luisa dedicates her time to financial literacy of women through various women's associations in which she is involved.
