This month, UCU was proud to show up for the people and traditions that make our community strong:

St. Joseph's Golf Tournament, Oakville. For the 20th consecutive year, UCU was Title Sponsor of the St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church Oakville, Ontario Canada golf tournament. Proceeds support St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, UCU Helps Ukraine and the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Roman Mlynko of UCU Wealth Strategies was on hand to accept a $10,000 donation for UCU Helps Ukraine.

Ivana Kupala, Hawkstone. We celebrated one of Ukraine's oldest and most beloved summer traditions.

Plast St. Catharines Пласт Сейнт Кeтеринc Plast St Catharines. We're proud to support Plast camps, where young people build leadership, resilience and lifelong connections to their Ukrainian heritage.

Niagara Ukrainian Family Festival, Niagara Falls. A weekend of music, food and family fun that brought Ukrainian culture to life.

This generous gift represents more than financial support—it reflects a decade of trust, partnership, and shared dedication to preserving heritage, strengthening community organizations, and empowering future generations.

For the past ten years, the UCU has stood as a steadfast supporter of the UCC, contributing a remarkable $232,250 in support of our shared mission to grow, support, and celebrate the Ukrainian Canadian community—while standing in solidarity with Ukraine. We're proud to celebrate the reopening of our newly renovated UCU London Branch.

Last week, we welcomed members and community guests to mark the occasion. UCU Board Chair Natalia Lishchyna and UCU CEO Taras Pidzamecky joined us for the occasion, helping commemorate this important investment in our London branch.

Guests had the opportunity to tour the refreshed space, meet our team and learn how UCU can help them achieve their financial goals.

Since 1988, our London branch has proudly served the Ukrainian Canadian community and the broader London area. This renovation reflects our ongoing commitment to providing an exceptional banking experience and serving our members for years to come.
