Awareness is growing in our industry, but fear of judgement is still getting in the way.

72% of music professionals say ongoing stigma and fear of losing work continue to prevent people from seeking mental health support, despite having more open conversations in the industry.

You shouldn't have to choose between your well-being and your career. Unison’s support is free, confidential, and ready when you are.

The recent Sound of Support study from Women In Music Canada and Music Publishers Canada found that most caregivers in the music industry have never heard of programs like ours.

We offer financial assistance for those who need to reduce or step away from work due to unexpected caregiving challenges, as well as therapy and counselling to help with the burnout, emotional strain, and mental toll that caregiving can bring.

Support exists. Share this with a friend or colleague and help us reach the people who need it most. 🫶

The numbers from Revelios Mental Health's Soundcheck study highlight a difficult reality of working in the music industry. But they also remind us that no one is alone in this.

If you've experienced financial stress, anxiety, depression, or just a quiet sense that you're not okay, you’re not the exception. You’re the majority.

Unison is here to help, with direct therapy coverage, emergency financial support for basic living expenses, and access to 24/7 confidential counselling.

Whether you're struggling, supporting a colleague, or just want to know what's available, share this with someone who might need it.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

$25,000 for the people who make the music happen.

The Rotary Club of Toronto and its Charitable Foundation just made a game-changing gift to Unison, and we are beyond grateful.

This contribution will directly support music workers in Toronto with critical, health-related expenses that public programs don’t cover, with each person eligible for up to $2,500 in personalized support. That includes things like dental care, mobility aids, medical supplies, and mental health counselling.

This means musicians and music workers across the city can count on the care and support they deserve, no matter what life throws their way.

Because music doesn’t exist without the people behind it.

Thank you, The Rotary Club of Toronto. This is service in action.

What a night! Thank you to everyone who joined us at Jaymz Bee’s Caravan of Music and filled the room with so much music and laughter.

A big thank you to the artists who performed. You’re exactly who Unison exists for, and we’re so grateful you shared your talent with us.

A special shoutout to Jaymz Bee and Vesuvius Music for dreaming up such a special event.

And to Old Mill Toronto and the generous sponsors who helped bring it to life: Chris and Susan Climo, Evanov Communications, FoxyHome, Live Nation Canada, MLSE, Peninsula Ridge Estates Winery, Henry of Pelham, Slaight Music, Ticketmaster, The Reservoir Lounge, & Watr Tek Pro.

We’re so grateful to this community for showing up for Canadian music workers.

Just before the JUNOs took over Hamilton last week, friends from across the industry gathered at the Westdale Theatre for Undercovers.

It was an incredible night of great songs, talented artists, and a community that came together to raise over $40,000 for Unison. We’re so grateful to everyone who made it happen.

A special thank you to every artist who took the stage and made it so memorable. And huge thanks to for organizing, for hosting, and everyone who showed up and gave so generously.

This is what community looks like. 💙
