LMITF is more than just a music festival - we’re a non-profit organization that has donated more than $2 million back in to our community.

We dedicate our Emerging Artist Showcase in memory of James Cameron, which includes the commitment to donate festival proceeds towards mental health organizations.

This year, our donation is going to The Unison Fund The Unison Fund, a charity that provides counselling, emergency financial support, and other resources to the Canadian music community. Created and administer for the music industry by the music industry, Unison is here to help professional music workers in times of hardship.

We’re excited to welcome new voices to Unison’s Board of Directors, and congratulate Sarah Kilpatrick on stepping into the Chair role, with Spencer Mussellam moving into Vice Chair.

We're proud to introduce four new directors to the Board, each bringing meaningful experience and strong ties to Canada's music community:

We want to thank our outgoing Chair, Brian Huston, who helped guide Unison through a period of significant growth and change. His generosity and commitment to the wellbeing of music workers has left a lasting mark on our community.
