We recently funded a private mortgage on a waterfront cottage in Haliburton, Ontario.

Our client was self-employed, resided in the United States, and did not have Canadian income or an established Canadian credit history. They wanted to access equity for property improvements and other investment purposes after encountering challenges with traditional financing.
