In these uncertain times, debt underwriters are looking for teams who have experience & ample liquidity as well as projects that have sufficient margin and a clean exit plan. So it is important to present your deal package well as a bad first impression can kill your deal with a lender!

In these uncertain times, debt underwriters are getting more stricter in how they evaluate deals.

However, always remember that when financially modeling and underwriting your multifamily apartment project(s) (developments, flip, BRRRR, or refinances) always start with the exit financing and underwrite conservatively.
