Canada’s Transport Minister announced that all light-duty vehicles sold in the country will be zero-emission vehicles by 2035, 5 years earlier than originally planned! At VCIB we say kudos, and we’ll continue to support Canada’s transport electrification by providing targeted financing solutions like EV charging infrastructure.

Until now the government had set 2040 as the target for when it wants to see all passenger vehicles sold to be powered by this technology.
