For a long time, I thought being a good insurance advisor meant being helpful, responsive and able to provide competitive options. Those things absolutely matter, but they are not enough.

My role is not simply to send someone a few quotes and ask which one they prefer. My role is to help people understand what the options actually mean.

➡️ What would the coverage protect?
➡️ Where could there be a gap?
➡️ How would the decision affect their family, income or business if life suddenly changed?

Sometimes the right recommendation is not the most obvious one. Sometimes it is not the least expensive one. And sometimes, after reviewing everything, the right decision is to wait. I want the people I work with to feel clear and confident... not pressured. To me an informed “yes” is valuable.

But so is an informed “no.”
