TFSA's have contribution limits!

The CRA assessed $166 MILLION in penalties in 2024 for over contributions to a TFSA. The penalty tax is 1% per month. If you're unsure of your limit, or how much more you can contribute to your TFSA, come talk with us.

The annual contribution limit for 2026 is set at $7,000, bringing the lifetime limit to $109,000.

Last week Kris was invited to attend the Wawanesa Life advisory council with 7 other advisors from across the Prairie provinces. They toured the new head office building, discussed the future direction of Wawanesa and provided insight from an advisor's perspective of the insurance industry to the COO and multiple VP's.
