Success doesn’t come from just “practicing what you preach” – it’s much bigger than that. It comes from being willing to live what you really believe; and that’s the way Danielle Genier created success in her own life, and has helped her clients do the same. But the problem with actually living what you believe is that it takes courage, and not the theoretical kind. It takes the real, day-to-day, even-if-it’s-not-popular kind of courage – luckily Danielle seems to have lots of that. One of the most amazing things about Danielle is that she simply has to “tell it as it is” – she can’t help it. So when clients are on track and doing a great job, she is there to remind them of their success and encourage them to continue. When she has clients that are drifting off their plan, she is also there to remind them of their own reasons for taking charge of their financial security, and how to continue to stick to their plan. Quite simply, because Danielle believes so much that clients can truly be financially successful, she has no hesitation in living her responsibility of holding them accountable to their goals. Sometimes those conversations are exciting and create a lot of enthusiasm, other times they require a bit more courage. And as Danielle will tell you, the real courage in being financially successful is the courage to tell the truth. Many people aren’t getting what they want because they are putting their attention on what everyone else thinks is important, not what they think is important. That’s why Danielle spends so much time with clients – time understanding what is truly important to them.

Ryan brings a genuine understanding of Northern Ontario life, having grown up in Kirkland Lake as an outdoors enthusiast hunting, fishing, and embracing it all. Before his office days, he worked underground in gold mines and built his own company from scratch, so he knows the value of hard work and always acts with integrity.

Goal-oriented and kind, Ryan has a way of putting clients at ease so they can openly share their goals and he consistently finds the right solutions. Backed by Genier Financial's decades of combined experience and diligent processes, Ryan helps clients of every comfort level carve their own path to financial success.

With a background in psychology, Derek knows even the best plan only works if it's followed. He focuses on helping clients understand their habits and motivations, creating a trusted, non-judgmental space where honest direction leads to real progress.

Born and raised in South Porcupine, Derek's work ethic was forged through competitive hockey serving as Captain of the Timmins Rock for three seasons, playing at Nipissing University, and going pro in Europe. That path taught him discipline, accountability, and how to earn trust over time.

Fluent in English and French, Derek is committed to making clients feel understood and supported at every stage helping them stay on track, adapt to life's changes, and keep moving toward their goals. For Derek, success isn't about ideas, it's about ex*****on.

Having run his own businesses and managed both big-box retail stores and a bank, Cory brings a practical, empathetic perspective to every client relationship. He's currently advancing toward full financial planner accreditation under the guidance of GFS's senior advisors.

Known for his authentic, people-first coaching style, Cory believes great leadership means helping others overcome obstacles and thrive values that show up in every client interaction through trust, transparency, and empathy.

Born and raised in Timmins, Cory is a husband and father of two who understands firsthand why financial planning matters for families. Outside the office, he's likely camping, fishing, hunting, or behind a camera indulging his passion for photography.
