Some highlights from our Spring Charity BBQ in support of St. Andrew's Dew Drop Inn Thunder Bay from Thursday! 🌭 🍔

What a week! 💗

On Thursday, we held our annual Spring Charity BBQ at our Algoma Branch in support of Dew Drop Inn Thunder Bay. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we raised $1,229! BAY then matched the proceeds, bringing our total contribution to $2,458.

But we didn’t stop there.

As we began planning celebrations for our 80th anniversary earlier this spring, we knew we wanted part of the milestone to focus on giving back to the community that has supported us for eight decades. Alongside the BBQ fundraiser, we partnered with Dew Drop Inn to sponsor a hot meal and spend an afternoon volunteering with their team.

We’re incredibly proud of our caring and proactive staff and Board of Directors. Social responsibility has always been one of our core pillars, and opportunities like this allow us to put those values into action.

Together, we helped serve a delicious meal of chicken parmesan, penne noodles, garlic bread, mixed vegetables, and fresh side salads to community members dining at the Inn.

Thank you to everyone who supported the BBQ and helped make this contribution possible!
