This Thanksgiving, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the people who make Jones Insurance so special.

We’re thankful for our amazing team, whose dedication, kindness, and hard work make a difference every day. For our clients, who trust us to protect what matters most. For our partners, who help us grow and deliver the best service possible. And for our wonderful community, who continues to support us and inspires us to give back.

A special thank you to our Social Committee for bringing us together and filling our lunchroom with delicious treats, smiles, and Thanksgiving spirit!

In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, our team wore orange to honour Survivors, their families, and communities, and to reflect on the importance of truth, reconciliation, and meaningful change.

Thunder Bay, our home, is rich in Indigenous history, culture, and traditions, while also carrying the legacy and lasting impacts of residential schools. As a local business, we recognize our responsibility to listen, learn, and contribute to reconciliation through education, awareness, relationship-building, and ongoing action.

ThunderCon 2026 was packed with unforgettable moments!

From incredible cosplay like Dr. Doom and Jinx, a multiverse of Lokis, and even a Klingon inspired dragon trainer, to celebrity guests Dan Payne, Clare McConnell, Garry Chalk, and Katie Griffin connecting with fans, there was something around every corner. We loved seeing the creativity on display through cosplay, miniature painting, and all the hands-on activities throughout the weekend. Add in the friendly rivalry of the pickle challenge, the Northern Ontario Klingons raising money for the Terry Fox Foundation, and support for St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs, and it was a perfect reminder that ThunderCon is about more than fandom, it’s about community.
