October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to unite, support, and take action. 💖

In Canada, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. But there is power in knowledge and early detection. About 28% of breast cancer cases can be prevented through healthy lifestyle choices like staying active, limiting alcohol, and living smoke-free.

This month, let’s pledge to:
✔ Know the signs: learn the symptoms and what’s normal for you.
✔ Get screened: look into your provincial screening program. Regular scans typically begin at age 40, or earlier based on risk.
✔ Support the cause: consider donating to life-saving research or volunteering.
