I had a fabulous day at the CAMLA 2026 BC Expo, connecting with my A Better Way Group team, meeting lenders, and catching up with fellow brokers. 🙌

The industry speakers did a fantastic job! 🎤 One of my biggest takeaways was how embracing AI, alongside building strong lender relationships, can help us provide a more seamless experience for our clients. 🤖🤝

Stopping at the lender booths was especially insightful. I came away with a deeper understanding of the alternative lending products available and how they could help clients with different financing needs. 🏠🔑

It was an evening filled with emotion and transformation, hosted by Sahara Services — an event that touched hearts, inspired healing, and empowered lives. Through two poignant short films addressing domestic violence and sexual abuse, the audience witnessed powerful stories of pain, resilience, and recovery. A thoughtful panel discussion followed, exploring the deep impacts of abuse on survivors and their families, and highlighting the courageous journeys from pain to power, from darkness to light.

From the dedicated panelists and moderators to the passionate volunteers and Sahara Services board, the evening radiated a unified message of awareness and hope. Guests also engaged in a silent auction, showcasing remarkable artwork and generous donations, while a captivating classical dance performance beautifully embodied the event’s message — a graceful expression of struggle, strength, and healing.

It was truly an evening of reflection, empowerment, and community connection — one that reminded everyone that from pain can rise purpose, and from silence, strength.
