Well. I certainly don't post that often, but tonight finds me fortunate enough to be sitting outside on what is officially the latest we will see daylight all year. Absolutely gorgeous tonight and my dad was always so fixated on the solstices and nights like this. Happy Father's Day dad, wish you could be sitting with me now.

Full disclosure, I love watching my hummingbird friends year round! That said, the current cold temps can't help you feel for them and how to keep your feeder from freezing. If you're interested in a hack, I found a solution on line that showed. 7 watt night light zap strapped to the feeder. Bingo. $2 from the dollar store and the competition at the feeder is fierce!
