Jesus promised us an abundant life in John 10:10. He also gives us wisdom on achieving that.
Most of us picture heaven as eternal retirement, a cosmic resort, or a personal VIP lounge. But biblical theology and C.S. Lewis point to something far more challenging: if you died today, would you actually enjoy heaven? đĽ
Heaven isnât an amped-up Disneyland where God ignores our compromises. Hebrews calls Him an all-consuming fire. If we find holiness, prayer, and selfless service repulsive down here, heaven won't feel like paradiseâit will feel like agony.
Spiritual transformation isn't an optional upgrade for after we die; it starts right now. Do you just want an upgraded version of this world⌠or do you truly want the abundant life found in Christ?
