Brown & Brethour has been providing property, auto, business & farm insurance to the people of Sunderland, Uxbridge, Lindsay, & Port Perry for 30+ years.

Brown & Brethour Insurance Brokers Ltd. is a locally owned and operated insurance brokerage in the town of Sunderland, Ontario. The business was established over 75 years ago and consisted of two employees who operated out of a small office within a local residence. Today, the brokerage is located on the main street of Sunderland and the office houses sixteen licensed general insurance brokers. In

addition, Brown & Brethour Insurance Brokers Ltd. is partnered with Brethour Financial Services Ltd. who offers a full line of financial products and life insurance packages. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff boasts well over 100 years of combined experience in the insurance industry. We stay on top of current market trends and products to provide the best possible service to all of our clients. Each one of our general insurance staff is a licensed member of RIBO – Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario. RIBO is a regulatory body which requires each member to complete a variety of mandatory, educational courses each year to validate their licence. This continuing education provides us with the ongoing knowledge necessary to better serve your insurance needs. As a complement to our extensive knowledge, we deliver superior customer service and care to our clients. Our focus is to provide our customers with exceptional service in a professional, yet friendly environment. Community involvement is of great importance to the business as a whole, as well as the individual staff members at Brown & Brethour. Many of our staff members are actively involved in local groups, associations and charities. We pride ourselves in giving back to the community which we serve. Whether it is volunteering, sponsoring local teams or clubs, or providing donations to charitable organizations, we are here to support our community.
