Financial planning doesn’t end when you retire; it just changes focus.

Before the year ends, take time to make sure your financial strategy is still supporting your goals:

📊 Consider your RRSP: Turning 71 this year? You’ll need to collapse your RRSP by December 31 and establish a RRIF or explore other options.

🧾 Check in with your tax professional about strategies like charitable giving or tax-loss harvesting before December 31.

📜 Update your estate details, including your will, POAs, and beneficiaries to make sure everything reflects your current wishes.

Planning is the key to financial organization. Find out how.

We believe diversification matters in this backdrop, and we see opportunities in U.S. large-cap and mid-cap stocks, the Canadian materials and energy sectors, and emerging-market stocks, to balance U.S. technology exposure.

About me

I believe there is not a single solution that applies to all of my clients as each one of them is unique. Each client requires a personalized solution to meet their needs, so I work closely with them to understand their goals and what is important to them. By using an established process, we take a snapshot of where you are today, determine where you want to be tomorrow, and design a tailored solution to put you on the path to success. My branch office administrator, Sarah Backman, and I are always available to provide exceptional service and support to keep you on track to achieve your goals and dreams. I graduated from Fanshawe College in 1999 and was employed in engineering and industrial design for 16 years. Working in this field I have developed a specific skill set, which allows me to be an innovative problem solver and pay exceptional attention to detail. Each day I strive to best serve my clients with enthusiasm, honesty, and integrity. I grew up in a small town west of London with my two brothers and one sister. I have small town values and spending time with my family is very important to me. I live in London with my partner, Elana, and our two cats named Violet and Skittles. During my spare time I enjoy golfing, fishing, Aikido, and playing my guitars. Contact me for a no obligation review of your portfolio to see how I can help you today!
