Today, the Bank of Canada reduced it's policy interest rate by 25 basis points. This brings prime rate to 4.95%. 📉

Homeowners with variable rate mortgages or home equity lines of credit can expect reduced interest costs in the coming days.

This decision aims to support the Canadian economy while it faces potential slowdowns due to trade tensions with the US. The Bank of Canada continues to closely monitor economic changes and inflation to maintain stability for Canadians. 🇨🇦
